The Albuquerque Accordion Club was started in August of 2001 by Dan and Beate Boudro, who loved accordion music and decided that they would become accordionists themselves. And they realized that, in addition to taking lessons, one of the best ways to learn and become informed about the instrument was to associate with other accordion players on a regular basis. So they took the initiative and formed an accordion club.

Dan has since passed, and Beate is pursuing other musical interests – yet the club they founded lives on and is still growing and moving forward.
